NLP when in use plants a little seed of suggestion in the listeners mind. When delivering my sales person spiel I would be second guessing what you were thinking at that moment in time. Furthermore unless you looked mighty interested and making eye contact with me it would be very hard to define what someone else was thinking or what type of frame of mind they were presently in. But let me put it simply, if for example I was to ask you your name and you told me.

Then whenever I am telling you more on the product, if for instance your name was Willie and I say, "this particular product you've been looking at Willie is the best on the market, top of the range and out performs all its current competitors" then the mere use of your name would hold your interest and you would suddenly feel that It was not out of the question or a pipe dream for you to own that item. Sold.
